What did you say? We were too busy fighting to hear the words we were using. What did you say? We were too busy riding with our feet up on the dashboard to see where we're going. I didn't mean it. Throwing tongues at me like you wish we'd never spoken. I swore you said you wanted this, were you chewing with your mouth open? And I'm screaming with just the gearshift between us now. I would say we needed space, but it's the highway that surrounds. Ten miles to the next rest stop and I'm losing everything I think I've got, and I can't read the signs.

Slipped communication in nature's tangled fog. The leaves just barely rustle as we two stand in awe. Frozen behind the wild, a fresh life is clear. Beyond all that I see, is nothing but you, dear (deer). I breathe out in vibrations. You stand so tall and still. I dare not any closer, but you stand by your will. So come on, why don't you?

Wax Houses 03:03
I asked you not to stay, you inhaled another chug of beer. Carved your name on the dashboard, asleep at the wheel. Please go home. Your cup is pouring down into your open mouth, but you're not listening right now, no, you're not listening right now. You cannot drink as much as you think and you've lost your shit like the rest of us, no, you cannot drink as much as you think and you've lost your shit. I'm not trying so hard right now. People who live in wax houses probably shouldn't get stoned. Please go home. Just go home.

Okay, I think i have to explain: why we've been lying in wait, under the sheets with blankets at our feet, cause god knows we don't need the heat. I've been checking my wrist for a sign. A sign to tell me getting up is alright, a sign to tell me what I'm doing is fine, but a watch only tells you the time. It's no problem for you to sleep, but my stomach's tied up in knots so deep that I can't even eat, let alone sleep or dream. Plenty more time to smooth this all clean. When morning comes and we'll go separate ways, there's no question of it, it's myself to blame. I'll force down a breakfast lacking any taste and I'll wonder if I'm the only one who can't stand that nothing will change. Nothing will change. I'm just resting my eyes. I'm just taking my time.
